Join expert speakers from the BBC, Stemettes and Manchester City Council at the launch of this year’s Nominet Digital Youth Index. Hosted by The Prince’s Trust, the launch event is taking place on Monday 17th October 2022 at 09:30 – 11:00am. At this event we will be unveiling this year’s findings on young people’s relationship with digital technology across the UK.
You will be among the first to hear the latest insights from our second year of findings through expert discussions comparing year on year data and identifying emerging trends and themes. We have been asking key questions around what this all means for young people given their lived experiences and contexts while facing a nationwide cost of living crisis.
What’s new for year 2?
This year’s event will be livestreamed from Manchester and chaired by BBC Senior Tech Reporter, Shiona McCallum. Shiona covers everything tech related online and on-air and was previously a multimedia reporter and producer at Newsbeat on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra and The Asian Network.
