Where is the voice of young people in the AI debate?
Whilst reviewing and compiling the questions for the 2023 Digital Youth Index in spring last year, we were shocked at the lack of youth voice in the heightened AI debate. So, we added some questions about AI to our research, and our findings show a strong sense of curiosity amongst young people.

Follow the money – protecting young people from online financial harms
A significant number of young people are being scammed online, however the scope of financial risk and harm is much broader. Discussions with young people undertaken for the Index highlight a range of financial risk that children and young people experience such as the pressure to spend in games and the confusion that pseudo currencies can create.
